Fish & Tadpole

Fishing in the Tadpole Kingdom is the project of two friends. The peculiar name is a nod to two films they saw together in Summer 2012 - Salmon Fishing in the Yemen and Moonrise Kingdom. But why "Fishing" and "Tadpole"? Smart question. The nickname of one of the friends, Theodora, is Fish. And one of Florence's many nicknames happens to be Tadpole.

A little background about Florence and Theodora: They share the passion of appreciating films, chilling in bookstores and cafes, and late night deep chats via MSN (RIP). Knowing each other since 9th grade, they're on Chinese-first-name basis with each other's mums!

BTW, Fishing in the Tadpole Kingdom is a book + film club. Happy reading and watching!
